These days, it isn’t often that I could be so impressed with a contractor that it would drive me to let others know…but, here we go.
Several weeks ago, my wife Kathy and I set out to find the best options for replacing eight large windows in our retirement home on Canyon Lake, Texas. My initial stop after visiting numerous on-line sites, was to pop into the local Windows Depot Showroom on North Chadbourne...Inviting layout, beautiful and well-made products.
Casey and Lynn Deering were very personable, knowledgeable, and they explained several options while offering great advice. Important as our site project was out-of-town and I told them we were just trying to learn and get started.
Having this information, we scheduled an in-home presentation with a large company from San Antonio. Although their product seemed well made, the high pressure approach and what turned out to be highly overpriced bid was disappointing.
We also got a bid on similar Pella windows at half the first bid...opened our eyes and as they say, it pays to shop.
Due to the distance from San Angelo to our project site, we originally dismissed getting a bid here in San Angelo but guess what? After we asked Casey to bump us to Triple Pane windows and he factored in travel, the bid still came in far less than the first and less than we expected. After a site visit for precise measurements, the windows were ordered, came in a week later, and personally installed by Casey and his son the following Saturday.
Kathy and I were both amazed by the entire experience. They were on-time and there to work, precise in installing their superior product, and cleaned up when they were done. What a Beautiful and efficient upgrade and all for a great price.
Bottom line....If you're considering new windows, go talk to Casey and his Windows Depot Team...You'll be so glad you did!
